Senior Nutrition & Food Support

The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) — often called the Senior Food Boxes — helps older adults access nutritious foods. If you’re 60 or older and low-income, you can receive a monthly box filled with healthy staples: breakfast cereal, canned fruits and vegetables, pasta or rice, shelf-stable milk, cheeses, juices, proteins (including canned meats or peanut butter), and more.

Delivered through senior housing sites, senior centers, and neighborhood hubs across Luzerne, Lackawanna, Wyoming, and Susquehanna counties, this program serves more than 1,800 seniors at 94 partner locations.
